When A Van Attempted To Run Over Three People...

Police officers from Nottinghamshire's Police Forensic Collision Investigation unit cordoned off Milton Street, where the suspect attempted to run over three pedestrians and left one in critical condition.

Milton Street was one of the focuses of investigation as police officers inspected tire treads on the road.

Ilkeston Road was another focues of investigation as the suspect previously stabbed two 19-year-old students from the University of Nottingham, Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, to death at the site.

A helicopter continued to hover over city centre, amidst media reports that a police aircraft was sent to assist investigations.

There were multiple road closures as Nottinghamshire Police investigated the attacks.

Nottingham Express Transit said tram services was cancelled until further notice while bus operator Nottingham City Transport announced some routes might be shorten due to "severe disruption and delay".
